Meet the Team - Stuart Rose
Senior manufacturing and business executive in the global biotechnology, pharmaceutical/vaccine and medical device industries
Dr. Stuart Rose is an entrepreneur/investor and business executive focusing primarily on the global biotechnology, pharmaceutical/vaccine and medical device industries. He has extensive experience in international pharmaceuticals manufacturing as well as in the US industry and is an active investor in start-up companies in a variety of fields. In 2008 he acquired a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Albuquerque from Catalent, Inc., changed the business model that led to it becoming profitable. It was sold in 2014 to a multi-national pharmaceutical company.
Currently Stu is an investor in Agilvax, Inc., a company developing a new approach to prevention of breast cancer recurrence and NTx which is developing a new, non-cellular technology for production of biological molecules. He’s also a Venture Partner in Tramway Ventures, a micro-fund focused on seed stage health care startups. In addition to these Stu created the business incubator called The BioScience Center and the co-working/community/incubation space named FatPipe ABQ as well as Biophagy, Inc., an early stage biotechnology company. Further, he co-founded Hesperian Biopharma, PaizaBio, Inc. and Go-Station, Inc., operates his 20+ year old consultancy, Supply Chain Strategies International, and serves on the Board of Directors of mPower Technology, New Mexico Community Capital and others.
