Jennifer Hernandez Gifford
Associate Professor in Department of Animal Range Sciences at New Mexico State
Jennifer Hernandez Gifford is an Associate Professor in the Department of Animal and Range Sciences at New Mexico State University. After completing a M.S. at New Mexico State University, and a Ph.D. at Washington State University in Animal Science, she conducted post-doctoral research at Washington State University in the School of Molecular Biosciences. In 2009, she joined the faculty at Oklahoma State University and was involved in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in physiology, endocrinology and biotechnology. In 2016, she was recruited by her Alma Mater, and subsequently accepted the position and returned to NMSU. Her research focus is reproductive physiology with emphasis on mechanisms by which ovarian signaling molecules and pituitary hormones interact to regulate follicular growth and endocrine function which impact health and disease.
